Re: [RC] heat rash - heidiA few years ago I started getting a heat rash from riding any time the temp got above 70. Tried lots of things (body glide, gold bond powder, jeans, different socks, different tights, etc etc.) and nothing helped. I finally just started riding in shorts, I have horrid tan lines but that really isn't a priority. I found out a few years ago that my "heat rash" was really a food allergy that was just exacerbated by heat. Now that I've isolated the culprit foods, I do much better. (Unless like now, when I haven't been watching what I eat!)
