Each state has its own laws about livestock and animal husbandry. You need to look at your state's laws on the issue. I found the ones for Kansas in a net search. The laws generally are pretty specific to stallions... height of fence, whose responsibility it is if he causes trouble, etc.
 
I pay a pretty hefty liability premium on my farm insurance policy to have a stallion around here, and mine is 22, a been there done that kind of gentleman.

Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone could give me some "quotable" resourses that cover the responsibilities of stallion ownership: fencing requirements, liability insurance, etc. Strangely enough I am having to go to court to decide the fate of my colt's testicles. Please help.
