Re: [RC] Flax seed/coffee grinders? - gary affleck

There you go making sense again.  Hey could you get back to me on how you can grind flax into peanut butter?  Smiley emoticon I could save some money as much as my boy eats  of that.  I've gotta ask Bonnie Blair if that's what she did before she raced, flax ground into peanut butter or Skippy.    Smiley emoticon  You don't have to reply with the smart a$$, I already know that.    G.Affleck
Flax seed/coffee grinders?

If you don?t have electricity at the barn, then you can grind up batches of flax seed at home in front of the TV, put it into Ziploc baggies, throw them in the freezer or frig and just grab a baggie as you head out the door to feed, then recycle the baggies.  I can grind up more than ten pounds of flax seed during an hour-long show if I only grind during the commercials---plus the breaks help keep the motor cooler and extend its life.

BTW, you don?t have to totally grind the flax into peanut butter, just disrupting the outer seed coat is enough.  Two or three 3 second pulses is enough.
