Re: [RC] soak the flax seed - Simrat Khalsa

That is exactly what they do to my horse's BP and flax where I board. It works very well. I have checked my colt's manure and found no whole seeds. I started my mare on it 2 years ago when she had flakey, scaly, itchy spots in her mane and crest. They cleared up in 2 weeks and never came back.

I think that it would be possible to simply add a cup or so of whole flax to the day's beet pulp and soak it all together. That's the route I would try if I was feeding whole flax.
