==========================================

If someone is more interested than I, search the archives
because Susan posted on this a long time ago. If I remember
correctly from her post- no flax seed is not toxic, if you grind
feed immediately to prevent volatile fatty acids from
degranding, and you don't have to grind unless you want to.
When I worked at the track over 10 years ago, we fed alot
probably 3 cups. We cooked the oats and flax seed together.
Don't ask why we just did) I love chewing the stuff, boy did I
have shiny hair. Yes I did eat the horse flax seed and lived
to tell about it (rat hair (extra protein and all that : ) )

My problem is burning through coffee grinders but I am probably
filling them too full (at least that was the advice I got) Will
try feeding again to see if it helps my mare's allergies.
