[RC] Plastic Shoe Info - kstandefer

I have used a couple kinds of plastics.  The most recent were Ground Controls.  
I like them fine if you're only putting them on for one ride.  But, leaving 
them on long term I was disappointed in how the hooves grew.  They flared and 
started falling apart.  In addition, I worried that putting them on the rear 
doesn't allow the hoof to slide enough which could be hard on the joints (no 
proof, but my horses didn't move out as big with them as with steel or 
barefoot).
