[RC] Training a young QH - Jonni

There is a rider down here in Texas, Kim Reeves, who rides and does very
well with her Quarter Horses. In fact, I asked her Saturday as we were
vetting through during a ride, if they have ever even OWNED an Arab, and she
said no. She has over 3500 miles of rides with QH's, and only 3 rides were
LD. Here is a link to the website, and you can e-mail them. I'm sure Kim
would answer any questions you might have. You might have to condition
differently than one with an Arabian would, but if you like the horse, and
it is what you have, give it a try. You may or may not find that horse is
particularly suited for the sport. (that applies to any horse, no matter
what the breed) Good luck!
