RE: [RC] steves' remark seeing Paladin on the trail again - Jim Holland

Why was it "terrible"? It's what happens when you put "win" above "horse
welfare". It ain't pretty.  However, how about some "facts"? Would like to
see some details and input from people who were "there".

That horse was in its deaths throws, its brain was swelling and he was
violently convulsing.  Ask this question of Bev.  Where was she during this
time of crisis, was she with the horse or was she elsewhere? What's amazing
is that he lived through that experience. You think we'll see him on the
trail again after this??? He doesn't deserve that kind of treatment after
all he gave. If we see that horse on the trail again.  I will personally ask
for/demand Bev's resignation from the horse welfare committee.... I hope
others would feel the same.
