[RC] combining shoeing and natural trim - Ridecamp Guest

==========================================

My mare has been barefoot for months and has been trimmed with raised quarters
and rolled hoof edges. Her feet are the best they have ever been, with tight
white lines, wide frogs and clefts and no flaring. I'll be shoeing with Ground
Control shoes, which are very flexable and I was wondering if it was possible
to maintain this natural trim with these shoes, instead of shoeing her foot
with the standard "flat all round" trim. It seems to me that her foot would
maintain all the advantages that it has now, and be protected from concussion
and wear. I know that the GCs will conform to the shape of her foot. My farrier
is very open minded so I thought I would ask if anyone has tried shoeing this
way. If it works I think it might be the best compromise for my horse between
barefooting it and using shoes.
