My gelding had a strained supsensory last spring, and there was another spot 
on his high suspensory that has looked "a little suspicious" (might be an 
old injury) in two US's.  The core lesion is all filled in now, so we're in 
that "gradual loading" stage.  My vet hasn't yet ruled out a return to 
endurance competition, it's a wait-and-see-how-he-responds situation.  I'm 
sure it's very case-by-case.  However, I have read so many grim opinions 
about high suspensory injuries and would love to hear if there are any 
success stories.... or if I should just start shopping for another endurance 
mount now!
