[RC] RC] Riding after eating question - Ridecamp Guest

==========================================

Well I wouldn't call what I feed a "large" meal. Codee has a round bale to
herself so she eats whenever she wishes. She also gets a half pound of sweet
feed in the AM and the PM. This is the "meal" I was wondering about. In
addition what we're doing by endurance standards is a "hard work out" but
rather a 30 to 45 minute dressage workout with walk and trot mostly but maybe
some canter here and there.

It's just too darn cold for me by the time I get done at work and then feeding
for the riding to last much longer than that on week nights.

Part of the problem too is since Codee is a pony she is extremely hairly
compared to the arab I also have and tends to sweat easily even during these
workouts. So now I also have to towel her off and blow dry her to put her away
dry.
