Re: [RC] [RC] Probiotics, yeast, etc. - Dream Weaver

Do you still get your hay from Mack Land and Cattle? If so, have
you ever had the hay analyzed? And if so, is it selenium deficient? What kind
of vitamins do you feed? I get timothy from the Mack Ranch and I am feeding
Dynamite Plus. Am wondering if I need anything more.

Thanks, Pat Bush AERC# 1676 West Region

Hi Pat -- for the last few years I've been getting my hay from the Settlemeyer's. It's a grass/alfalfa mix and I haven't had it tested but I have had the horses individually tested for selenium. The timothy Mackland has is really nice, so is Clarence Burr's on Hwy 88 (and his is certified weed free). The vitamin I feed is Mega Dose from Horse Guard, here is a link to it: https://www.horseguard.com/store_product.php?category_id=3 It has organic selenium in it. I think it's important to properly supplement for that.
