[RC] thrush again - Agilbxr

Ok, had the farrier out, had the frogs trimmed up and the feet looked at
overall. He's got pockets on the back of his frogs that are almost an inch
deep. (the hoofpick picker part was just a smidge longer than the holes). BUT!
He thinks with time and daily care, he should be fine. Soo...

Is there anything I need to feed to promote foot growth now that we are
treating the thrush? He's already better with a combination of bleach,
thrushbusters, and koppertox. And a clean cozy stall for meals and 24/7
turnout on sand....except tonight when its 45 degrees and rainy, so we
blanketed him, gave him hay and parked him in his room. He's happily munching
away.

When I picked him up, his coat looked like crud. He was body clipped in
October, and it's growing back very coarse and thin. If I get a general
supplement (farriers formula maybe?), would it help the coat and the feet?
Gotta get my guy healthy!

On the bright side, I was told to ride him. Light exercise, stay out of the
rocks and hard stuff (I'm in florida....we have sand), but ride him. So, I'm
taking him riding this weekend for the first time in months. Yay! Wish me
luck...he's been as high as a kite since he's been home.

Juli and Alpine (ok, am less owie and positively spoiled with all the attention
I'm getting)
