[RC] Barefoot/Shod-both good - Tracy Blue

Wow, it's great everyone is so passionate about this
subject.

I would just like to say...
I have a 7 year old QH that has always been barefoot.
Has done 475 miles, all barefoot, but with easyboots
on the road loop of S.E. Minnesota and the RR bed loop
of Spirit Mountain. All trail riding, even on the RR
bed, since I live close and condition there, is done
barefoot. He is happy, he has no problems.
I have another 12 year old Qh, has over 1700 miles,
all shod.
He tried barefoot, didn't work. He has no problems
shod.
I have two more young ones, trying barefoot, but if
they need shoes that's o.k. too.
What can I say, I am almost always bareffot when
weather allows, my husband would rather die than be
barefoot in any situation. Horses or people....all
individuals with individual needs.
