[RC] TV star horses and "guide" - Maryanne Gabbani

While we are on the topic of Arabs and all, on Saturday February 5 the History Channel will be showing the program 'Digging For The Truth' episode 'Who Built the Pyramids?'. I can't honestly vouch for the quality of the show, but the horses on which Josh Bernstein is careening around the desert are mine. He's riding my baladi Arab gelding Bunduq, aka The Hummer, and my neighbour Morad (Josh's trusty Arab guide) is on Nazeer my Arab gelding. We had a good time filming with these guys for two days. The horses thought that the work was sort of silly, galloping up and down the same wadi's a few million times ....I mean actually. But the back of the jeep was filled with fresh cut hay and some of those conferences between the guys with the cameras and the actor took a reasonable time to finish.

Unfortunately, we don't get History Channel so I have to wait for a DVD to arrive from the production company, but the production crew said that the horse sequences were really nice. At least the Egyptian desert is real.
