I dunno--many of the breakdowns occur in big races right on the TV screen
in the average American living room.  Doesn't seem to make one whit of
difference.  (Note--I'm not defending the breakdown of racehorses--simply
making the observation that to the American public, breakdown of a horse
is a race is not something that pushes their buttons.)
