breakdown of times at every gate and the finish. The thing that quickly jumped
out at me was that the US team had to try to ride back into contention from a
position of around 120th place at the first vet check. This is absolutely
not a criticism, just a statement of fact. I applaud the entire team and their
crew and wish I had been there.
PS: The WEC has certainly go me jazzed about the upcoming season
and got me out on my horse, including a night ride under clear skies and
a full moon and 55 deg F at 10PM (Seattle). So what if the neighbors (and
horse) think your crazy going riding in the dark…
