Oh really? Cash has run at least one sub 8 hour 100 - I was at the ride. The Carolina ride in 1994 - the first four riders fiinished in less than 8 hours. Cash was one and Jeannie Waldrons great horse - that also ran international - Rambo was one of the others. Sub 8 hour 100 have been done by great horses with lots of miles. I suspect that RT Muffin has done a few. If you want to have a conversation - do your research first.

The biggest question is why are you comparing horses that are no longer competing to the horses of now? Those horses didn't run the flat courses of now, nor were they asked to run a sub-8hr 100 miler.
