I could add it to their mashes, but have not ever bothered. I don't feed any grain on any kind of regular basis to add salt to. Hay is fed out on the ground, so it would just end up in the dirt of sprinkled on the hay. I just looked out, and they are standing next to the barn, instead of under the shelter, with frozen rain / sleet and snow building up on them.
