[RC] Arab crosses in endurance - Julienne

Yup, Isabella is half spanish arab (dam's side) and paso fino. She's not
gaited, but she's extremely smooth to ride and has personality plus. Very
trainable and easy going, sensible and self-preserving. I love this cross!
Her bone isn't that substantial, but everything about her is dense. She's
built like a rock and she's tough. The only "real" pull we've had was for a
barefoot hoof meets rock which remedied with steel shoes. ;) Before that we
completed quite a few NATRC rides barefoot.

I had the pleasure of riding Sister, one of Dick Carter's horses for the
Quicksilver Fall ride. Unfortunately we met a rock with her name on it and
didn't complete, but I had the opportunity to ride her the first half of the
ride. It was the first time in years I rode another horse.. Barbara White and
Sandy Holder kept telling me how smooth she was to ride.. which she was! But
she still couldn't compare to the smoothness of Isabella. I think I'm very
very spoiled.. :)
