I did a quick look at his record and didn't see any - but I could have missed one. My point is the name of the game in international has changed. It's about the one ride wonders. It's about the horse that is primed to do one 7 hour 100 in his life - instead of a long career of rides.


Even as great as Rio was how many world championship would he have if he had to push to that level and still had the longevity he had? I think it would have been very difficult for even Rio to have met the challenge facing one race wonders - that could blast one 100 in 7 hours and never be heard from again - time after time.

The sport at that level has sure changed - and not for the better, IMO.
