Re: [RC] Impressive records - Truman Prevatt

I doubt there is any disagreement. I've heard Stagg Newman call Rio an
alien - probably true.

This however brings up an interesting question to ponder. When Rio was
running - he was winning world championships in 9 to 10 hours. Today
they are running them in the 7 to 8 hour window.

My question is would have Rio been able to run these speeds and if he
did would he been blown out? Of course we will never know - and of
course there is a deeper question here to ponder.

Has anyone disputed this? Did I miss something?

To me, the most impressive record of ANY endurance horse, is RO Grand Sultan
