RE: [RC] Nourishment - heidi

What kind of nourishment do you, as an endurance rider, eat and drink during
the ride in order to keep from falling out? Your input would be greatly
appreciated. Thank-you

Guzzle water in the 24 hours pre-ride and during the ride. Milk, milk,
and more milk. Fruit--grapes, watermelon, nectarines, bananas,
whatever. Potato salad. Cold chicken. Tuna sandwiches. Pudding.
Granola bars--my favorites are chocolate chip, but I don't turn down
other flavors. Hard candy. Half-strength grapefruit juice.

My hubby is one of those who can go all day without eating--but not me!

Heidi
