Before more complaining about the huge fees, etc., remember the
RM's plight. At a recent ride a rider was pulled (two vets agreeing) for
lameness and in the spirit of good sportsmanship went home and stopped payment
on her check. The same ride had 5 other checks
bounce.
My suggestion is that if you can't be a good sport and accept
veterinary decisions, stay home. I can't believe that a vet who is an
international ride can't recognize a lame horse.
And if you don't have the money and can't afford the ride, don't
go. Writing bad checks is just not
