I will say this every time this thread comes around: There are some of 
us who like LDs just they way they are, we're not trying to change 
anything, and we're not wanting to be known as endurance riders.  When 
I have the right horse, I may choose to do a 50 mile ride, but for now, 
we (I'm speaking for my whole team) enjoy LD for what it is- a chance 
for us to ride the trails, hang out with people that have like 
interests, and just have a grand weekend.  Please remember that not all 
of us are wanting to change things.
