[RC] [RC] novice class, LD taken seriously, etc. - KYielding

Jody Rogers-Buttram dragnin100@xxxxxxxxx, said in part:
"...The awards are given is the order of 25's first, then the 50's and then...last the poor ole 100 mile people get theirs.  What happens is that the T-shirts or whatever are all so picked over that the people that have worked the hardest, have the most to be proud of...gets the least.  And if you don't think so, and you haven't ever done a 100 or 50, just do one and see how you feel..."

I really agree with this and so far I'm ridden 25 and 30s, or just been a crew member so watched awards presentations.  It may seem best to save the best placings for last but I do believe the 1st place 100 miler should receive first recognition at the awards presentation.  Then the rest of the 100 milers followed by first 50 and so on down the line.  The longer distance winners should have first pick of prizes and sizes.  If I am the very last place rider in a 25 or 30 I should have last pick of the completion awards.
