[RC] ALERT- Tennessee Farmers Cooperative FEED RECALL - RavenPLEASE CROSS POST THIS ALERT, Thanks! Raven 11/17/2005 Tennessee Farmers Cooperative recalls four lots of horse feed LaVERGNE, Tenn. The Tennessee Farmers Cooperative has issued a voluntary recall on four lots of custom horse feed that contain high levels of a drug compound for livestock that can be fatal in horses. The feed was distributed from October tenth to 25th at five of the cooperative's outlets in East Tennessee and a store in northeastern South Carolina. The feed was sold as Co-op Ten Percent Grain Mix and was manufactured at the cooperative's mill in Rockford. Customers who bought the affected feed should return the product to a cooperative outlet for replacement.
