RE: [RC] [RC] Mr. Tom Ivers - Juli JakubI honestly have tears in my eyes. I did not know him well. I never met him face to face. I was a newbie and have never even competed in this sport yet. But he showed me kindness and was always willing to answer my questions. He helped me understand what I needed to maybe get going in this sport successfully and he helped me understand how where I had been could benefit me. He made me laugh with his rants and his rudeness and his love of stirring the hornets nest. He loved to get people riled up enough to get them thinking and I think he was proud of us all when we did think. He is a great loss to the horse world and I am saddened for those who knew him and loved him. And I am sad he will not be here to continue to help me as I embark on this adventure called endurance riding.
