Re: [RC] Which Reactor Panel saddles do folks like? - Raven

The RP endurance saddle has the big thigh block. Carmi from RP says
that many riders prefer the VSD Traditional or Summit

Hi Bonnie...I would strongly recommend that you try a few different RP
saddles. After all, you only pay for shipping, unless you live close
enough to drive to their location.

Carmi and Lisa are great to work with!! And the saddles are beautiful!

For me....I really like a saddle with a deep seat, and the thigh
blocks on the RP endurance are wonderful. They are great when going
down very steep terrain. I'm not a flat lander...so the thighs blocks
are something that I wanted on my new saddle.

I could be wrong...but I think that the VSD Traditional, Summit,
Endurance and Cross Functional saddles all have the same seat. (??)

What about the set-back stirrups on the endurance model? Is this a good thing?

I think the set back stirrups are made that way to help you balance
when standing in the stirrups. I ride in a centered balance seat and
have no problems with the set back stirrups.

Although I do ride a gaited horse (Icelandic Horse), I spend the
majority of my riding time ... in a posting trot and my RP endurance
is very comfy.

You may want to join the Flex Saddle Yahoo Groups list, that's a great
place to get more info on the RP saddles. Raven
