[RC] protecting saddles - Laney Humphrey

Just thought I'd pass along some ways to make identifying lost or stolen take easier. My friend's saddle that was stolen yesterday has her name engraved under the gullet. Sharon Saare apparently does this on all the saddles she makes. Very smart! I'm buying an engraver and marking all my saddles! For insurance purposes, it's really good to have a visual record, either photos or a video. Fortunately, another friend happened to have a picture of Pam's saddle so she can add the picture to the notices she is posting as well as give it to her insurance.
