Re: [RC] Freeform saddle - Simrat Khalsa

I use a Montana Cincha mohair dressage girth. I bought it with the saddle from Candy Kahn. I don't think that it is necessarily that the holes are small, but that there are several layers in the billet that the tongue of the buckle has to go through. I sometimes have a hard time lining them all up. I would rather that the billets just be a nice tough leather rather than the multi-layered like they are. It is the *one* thing that I don't like about my saddle!

For anyone who has one of these saddles, what kind of girth are you
using. I got one yesterday on trial and I've got about 50 girths and
none of them go thru the tiny holes that are on the girth straps.

I don't what to make the holes larger in case I need to send it back.
My saddle fitting husband said he's about to make them larger and send
free form a bill ;)
