I'll hang my neck out too. I have a guy that is super sweaty the minute I look at him with the saddle and I live in extremely harsh conditions. ( Good thing he has hair like a buffalo three layers and so thick you could weave with it) I make sure he is cool, let him hang in his stall for a little while I do clean up stuff and then out he goes. He has never had any bad reaction or problems and he is out all the time except to eat and tack up. He seems to take care of it himself...goes in the run in if he needs to or just drys off out in the cold!
