This saddle is different. The gullet side of the saddle is raised, so you're almost having the security of a western saddle. It's amazing how stable it is. I think the seat is one of the best features aside rom the HAF pad. Try to demo one and go up and down some really steep hills. You'll see how the saddle pad stays put, and how secure you'll feel in the saddle - all that without looking like you're sitting on a barkel lounge (spelling?).

I was wondering about the Freeform also...my question...how stable is it? I am still looking for my hubby and I really like treeless...does it keep you in a stable seat or is it like my Ansur...super comfy and wonderful but you better know how to ride cuz it ain't gonna keep you on. Don't get me wrong I love my Ansur, but there is nothing there to help you out so you have to have pretty good balance all on your own.?Thanks for any info on these saddles
