These guys were bred to haul heavy loads through
the Austrian Alps I believe. The big draft horses had problems navigating
the trails so the smaller, tough Haflinger was bred and got a job. I can
definitely see myself getting another one someday. Great trail
horses. Very sure footed and not spooky.
