[RC] black pad - Ridecamp Guest

==========================================

I use both a black and a dark blue saddle pad on Shaba. I have
not seen any affect on his ability to cool off or pulse down.
He drops very quickly (usually under 60 by just coming into a
vet check, letting him have a drink of water, then walking over
to the pulse taker; about a 2-3 min timespan at most). He is a
grey, however, so a darker color horse may have a different
result. Although, I would think that the material of the pad and
the thickness would be the factor in heat dissipation, as well
as how much it covered the back, and not the pad color itself....

Lauretta and Shaba (I have a black saddle and pad, red breast
collar, black crupper, purple bridle and turquoise reins...good
thing I don't model for GQ, my mom is totally color-coordinated
challenged......)
