[RC] New horse - Don Huston

Cherie wrote: "Lo and behold...his cribbing did not go away." I had the same thing happen to me. The first 6-8 months he was in a pen by himself but next to 2 other horses and cribbed some. Then I put all 3 horses in one pen and after a year he quit cribbing and I have had him 5 years now and have never seen him crib again. I also feed grass hay with a huge evening flake that keeps them munching all night. My new horse was also thin and my vet said that cribbers are generally in poor condition. All has changed for the better now and it will for you too. Don't give up.
