I think they are made by Coleman and are green in color. I know that on some rides they don't allow you to use the green ones because they mark trail with them. I've used all colors of the rainbow but again, I tend to not use them for light at all. I had one but never cracked it. For ME, I tend to do better with out any light on at all. If its a crowded ride like Tevis I "might" put one somewhere in a back cantle bag that way no one runs into me One thing I would suggest and thats you ride in clear glasses at night. I know on Tevis one tends to get whacked upside the head by tree branches. You can't see them until they knock you upside the head.
