[RC] tying a horse to the trailer - do you use a safety knot? - Marta Kozlowska

my mare got loose the other day at the barn when i had her tied to the trailer. she was tied w/ a safety knot. i never had a problem. w/ her getting loose when we're away from home. maybe she's not as fidgety. anyway, i'm wondering if the problem was the knot itself or the type of lead line i was using (it was the round type rope lead that you can usually find at petsmart). i just want to find out what is generally used when tying to the trailer.
thanks!
