[RC] Excessive salt eating - Don Huston

It's basically just a bad habit, like eating salty sunflower seeds. Take away the salt block but add a fairly large amount of electrolytes to the food and then slowly reduce the amount over several months. The horse will return to normal and not pee so much. After you cure the bad habit but a problem still remains then you will be able to better diagnose it without all that salt in the system. Good Luck.
