[RC] Excessive salt eating question - Ridecamp Guest

Please Reply to: Debbie Zanot darkcat5@xxxxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
==========================================

A friend of mine who rehabilitates neglected horses is very concerned about her
latest horse patient that will eat an entire salt block if allowed. He was
devouring salt like this before she got him. He also is getting over a kidney
infection and is very emaciated. He drinks excessive amounts of water and
unrinates huge quanities. Please email whinny@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx with your
answers. Her veternarian said he would have to look that up. hmmmm ...Mary is a
wonderful person that is devoted to horses that are disgarded and would
appreciate help with this.
Thanks,
Debbie
