Seems to me that, in order to keep it within the legal width limits, the stalls would have to be very narrow. The 8' wide trailers have the rear wheel wells inside the body of the horse area and I don't think a trailer can be wider than 8'.

I've got a 2H straight load with small LQ. I really like it and got it for a
very reasonable price. But if you added another stall in a straight load
fashion, it would really increase the length of the trailer. That's why
slants are so popular.
