A four horse straight load with living quarters is a long trailer. I
want a wide trailer with  3 horses lined up side by side.

I've got a 2H straight load with small LQ. I really like it and got it for a
very reasonable price. But if you added another stall in a straight load
fashion, it would really increase the length of the trailer. That's why
slants are so popular.
