[RC] qualifications for the WEC - Ridecamp Guest

Ok, guys --question for those of you smarter than I...... When you go to the 
WEC site and all the interviews and press releases, etc are over on the right 
hand side of the page. The interview entitled "Shaikh Hazza's golden decision". 
In the interview where he's discussing why he didn't start Shadon, and why he 
chose Hachim, he states that it was Hachim's FIRST EVER 160km ride. What is up 
with that? It was my impression that these FEI rides had to be qualified for, 
as they are here in the states. Are the rules different in other countries? 
Maybe the 'host country' doesn't have to follow the samer rules? Maybe I'm an 
idiot and reading it wrong, but I'd sure like to know how you experts would 
interpret that? Surely someone wouldn't run a horse's first 100 in 7 hrs and 20 
minutes. Take a look at the article and let's have a discussion!
