things that struck steph when she first saw the Argentine gouchos was the 
normal sit
of the rider on the horse. feet way forward (almost front of shoulders). There 
may be 
some differences around the world on what is "best".

as to the UAE style, that easy-Chair is seen as being easier on the horse when 
cantering 
for 8 hours. go figure. wonder what these horses could do without the added 
stress?
