RE: [RC] Fire Mountain - long - Susan E. Garlinghouse, D.V.M.There were 15 LD riders, and only 1 didn't complete. Way to go LD riders! I think I heard the horse won, but didn't meet criteria in time. If I'm wrong, I apologize right now. The horse briefly met pulse criteria at the finish line (although it was not a vet that did that P&R, so am a little suspicious of it), but an hour later failed several Fit To Continue parameters at final check, and thus was not given a completion. The rider was surprised but polite, understood the reasons why, and I assume has learned a lot about the horse to be used at a future ride.
