[RC] Rice Bran & Beet Pulp - Lisa

I have a 14 year old Thoroughbred mare who is a hard keeper. I've tried
several 'diets' with her to both gain and maintain weight, with my
favorite being a blend of rice bran and soaked beet pulp. She doesn't
become hot and loves the flavor of this combination, plus it's
nutritionally balanced when fed in proper amounts. However, I've heard
rice bran can be bad for their feet -- Does anyone have any
knowledge/comments on this? My horse has those typical soft
Thoroughbred feet! At the most, I would feed 8 cups of rice bran/day.

Appreciate any help, thanks!
