I have been unable to keep up with ride camp for a while......I am so sorry
to hear about Ed's loss of his beloved partner, George - I had the privilage of
being present at the Ponce de Leon ride where they did the 75 miles insted of
50 - I was in the crowd with everyone else waiting for them to get in - What a
great team they were !! I was also at the Camp Osborn ride that he spoke of in
his tribute.........Man was it COLD!!! I have since moved to
California......Had the opportunity to buy a BLM mustang and immediately
thought of Georgous George and how impressive he was and bought my boy Oscar
Wild - I have had him a year and he is already a wonderful horse - He is almost
4 - Hope to do his 1st 25 in the spring - If he develops into 1\2 the horse
that George was, I will consider myself one lucky lady indeed -
Ed, I know the pain you are feeling........ You were both so lucky to have
found each other !
