Unfortunately I think this gets overlooked a lot. Like I said in another 
post, RMs will emphasize "tell me if you pull" so they are not still looking 
for you at midnight, but rarely do I hear them emphasize the ROs MUST 
present to the vets. I didn't know it was required for the first probably 2 
years I was riding? I just happened to vet through in case I decided to go 
back out and not take the RO.

Yes, it's something the RMs and the vets should state firmly at the ride 
mtg.
