[RC] Ring lights - Claire Nystrom

As its getting darker earlier and earlier now, I'm trying to figure
out a way to put up lights in the ring where I board so I will be able
to ride after work once the time changes. The catch is that I can't
plug anything into the barn outlets because the wiring is old and
terrible and it will blow a fuse if I try. They also can't be too
bright as I'm sure the horrible neighbor will complain. I was
thinking of stringing up Xmas lights around the ring because I think
that would give me enough light, but how to power them? Is there any
type of mini generator with just enough power for lights-- I don't
want to buy anything big and expensive. A friend of mine suggested I
try solar power garden lights-- has anyone tried this? I would love
to hear people's suggestions as I want to figure out a cheap and
effective solution.

Thanks,
Carol
