[RC] Entering FL with Horses/Evacuations - Ridecamp Guest

==========================================

The Ag Inspection Station on I-l0 both directions
is west of Live Oak Florida; Contrary to popular thought it is NOT at the
State Line on I-l0. If you get off I l0 from the West, prior Live Oak , on
State Road 90 ramp you can get into Live Oak and find someplace to hole up
probably. Look at a good State Map and you will see what I mean.

Now it is very difficult to by- pass Ag Inspection but if one was needing to
simply hunker down in FL from a storm such as we just experienced, that would
get you well away , without current health certificate.

Actually if you haul a lot a Event Permit or similar is good for six months at
a time. Then you are good to go anywhere in FL
with your horses. FL now has interstate Compacts with abunch of
SE states so ask your Vet.
